PHYLLIS MARIE BEARD, 89, of 50 North Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Thursday, January 08, 2009 at Golden Living Center. Born May 7, 1919 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Roessner Beard Sr. and Ava May Hollenberger Beard. She was employed with Allegheny Airlines at the Hagerstown Airport. She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She is survived by one brother, Jacob R. Beard Jr. of Orange City, Florida; two nieces, Marjorie Lynn Brunson of Fayetteville, Georgia, and Judith Ann Jorgensen of Clermont, Florida; one nephew, Michael R. Beard of Marietta, Georgia; great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great nieces and great-great-nephews. There will be no services. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hagerstown, at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard.
