PHYLLIS MAE BARGER, 80, of 12845 Resh Road, Hagerstown, died July 18 at Ravenwood Nursing Home. Born August 26, 1926 in McConnellsburg, PA she is the daughter of the late Louis M. and Mabel Hammer Younkin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Haymor J. Barger. She was previously employed with Elpern Dress Factory. She was a member of Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship. She was a member of the Homemakers Club and also the bowling leagues at Turner Lanes. She is survived by three daughters, Maybelle P. Schetrompf and Kathryn Moats both of Williamsport and Carole Wolfensberger of Hagerstown; a son, Larry Barger of Hagerstown; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Services will be held 3:00pm Sunday at Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship, 14010 Greencastle Pike, Hagerstown with Rev. Len Smith officiating. Burial will be private at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Saturday, 6:00-8:00pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd and one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Broadfording Church of the Brethren Fellowship.
