PHILLIP WAYNE RYAN, of Williamsport, died on Monday, November 29, 2004 at the Washington County Hospital. Born in Alexandria, Indiana, he was the son of the late James Elza Earl and Edith Marie Bennett Ryan. He attended Marlowe Assembly of God Church in Marlowe, W. Va. He sang in the choir, had been a Sunday School teacher, served as a deacon and trustee and was active in the Prison Ministry. He also served with the Hagerstown Union Rescue Mission Ministry. He was employed with Lowe's in Hagerstown in the delivery department. He liked to fish, play basketball and ride motorcycles. He is survived by his wife, Janice I. Ryan; two brothers, Donald G. Ryan of Anderson, Indiana and Darrell L. Ryan, of Noblesville, Indiana and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the Marlowe Assembly of God Church, 9045 Williamsport Pike, Falling Waters, West Va. Rev. Dr. A. Paul Harne, Rev. Arnold F. Brown and Pastor Jim Lloyd will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Family requests the omission of flowers.
