Penny Starr Reed December 2, 1954 - July 3, 2023

Penny Starr Reed of Hagerstown, Md passed away on Monday, July 3rd at her home, after several months of declining health. Born December 2, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Gladhill) and James W. Weaver, Sr.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James W. Weaver, Jr., daughter, Tonya Martin and longtime boyfriend, Paul J. Grimes Jr.

She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Snow (Mike), son, Jeremy Grimes (Lexi), Paul's daughter, Ponder Bishop (Nathan) and son in law Lynn Martin. Grandchildren, Courtney Weaver (Chris), Tyler Martin, Makayla, Tatum and Cadence Snow. Great-grandchildren, Hunter, Landon and Ryder Weaver and Mario, Juliet and Jack Bishop. Brothers, Michael Weaver (Deborah) of Burleson, Texas, Tony Weaver (Rhonda), Troy Weaver (Genny) and sister and caretaker, Pamela Weaver, special nephew and caretaker, Matthew Weaver all of Hagerstown. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Penny was a 1972 graduate of South Hagerstown High School. She was a very loving mother and loved to spend time with her family. She loved doing puzzles, coloring and watching true crime shows.
