PEGGY LOUISE HAWKINS, 74, formerly of 641 Guilford Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, and a resident of Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro, Maryland, died on Friday, July 8, 2005 at the Washington County Hospital. Born July 19, 1930 in Temperanceville, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Revell W. and Mary Chandler Taylor. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She has gone to join her husband, George Marvin Hawkins, who preceded her in death in 1988. She is survived by three daughters, Jeanie Jefferies of Hagerstown, Cathy Wallace, and husband, Dan, of Williamsport, Maryland, and Patty Bechler, and husband, Tony, of Frederick, Maryland; one brother, Revell Taylor, Jr. of Benton, Kentucky; six grandchildren, Dr. Mark Jefferies, and wife, Margaret, J. Jason Jefferies, Brent Wallace, Matthew Wallace, Tyler Bechler, and Rachel Bechler; and three great-grandchildren, Alisha Jefferies, Mikaela Jefferies, and Emily Taylor Jefferies. Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing. The Hospice Pastor will officiate.
