Pearl (PeeWee) Louise Embly Bumbaugh, 81, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away peacefully in her sleep and went to be with the Lord on the March 22, 2023, at Doey's House. Born on May 20, 1941, in Washington County, MD.

She was the daughter of the late David Lawrence Embly and Pearly May Baker Embly. She was a graduate of South Hagerstown High School Class of 1959. She was previously employed at E.J. Fennel, and Clear Spring Elementary School as a dishwasher. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life John Eugene Bumbaugh; brothers, David Ellsworth Andrew Embly, Mearl Leroy Embly, Willis Lorrane Embly, James Albert Embly, and Clayton Aldean Embly; sisters, Edith Geneva Embly Gorden, Thelma May Embly Hoke, Virginia Elizabeth Embly, Betty Jane Embly Blue, and Barbara Elizabeth Embly Menninger. A daughter-in-law, Robin Carter Bumbaugh, and one step grandson.

She is survived by her children, John Edward Bumbaugh of Hagerstown, Susan Louis Bumbaugh Mills and husband, Grailing of Clear Spring, MD, William (Bill) Eugene Bumbaugh of Fairplay, MD, and Mary Ann Yeargan and husband, Greg of Clear Spring, MD, 13 Grandchildren, and 10 Great Grandchildren.

She was a lifetime member of the Clear Spring Volunteer Fire Company, Past President of both Clear Spring and Funkstown American Legion Auxiliary, and a member of West End Baptist Chapel. She was an avid bingo player.

Services will be 11:00am Monday, March 27, 2023, at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. Pastor Shane Wilt Sr. will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
