Pauline May Black, 90, of Hagerstown, passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Meritus Medical Center. Born September 8, 1925 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mollie (Bowers) Wilson. Pauline was a Christian, and enjoyed attending services at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in Rohrersville, MD. She retired from Offray in the early 1990s after many years of service. Pauline is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pamela and Dino Jardina of Smithsburg; son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Heidi Black of Chewsville; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Billy Lee Black; sisters, Catherine Miller and Helen Young; brothers, Harry Clifton Wilson and Edgar Lee Wilson; sister-in-law, Anna Grace Wilson; and dear friend, Helen Barkman. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Rose Hill Cemetery. Pastor Bill Divelbiss will officiate. As Pauline had a love for animals, memorial donations may be made to The Humane Society of Washington County, 13011 Maugansville Road, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
