Paula Renee McMurry, 71, of Sharpsburg, MD, passed away Monday, July 27, 2026.

Born May 18, 1955, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ira Paul and Laura Virginia (Shackleford) Stockslager.

She was employed by the Federal Government and proudly worked for 45 years at the C&O Canal.

She is survived by son, Brent Mosser; daughter, Stacey Miller; five grandchildren, Jordan Miller, Jayden Miller, Jaxson Fernandez, Torey McDonald, and Ryan Mosser; and four great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by husband of 22 years and life companion, Lee Miller and one granddaughter, Astoria McDonald.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8pm on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.
