PAUL JOSEPH PETERSON, JR., 53, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died Saturday, May 28, 2005 at the Washington County Hospital. Born September 28, 1951 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Paul Joseph Peterson, Sr. and Rebecca M. Semler Peterson of Hagerstown, Maryland. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was previously employed with the Western Maryland Railroad and most recently employed with Radio Shack. He was a Nascar enthusiast. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Belinda Rowland Peterson; two daughters, Lori Crawford and Heather Burns both of Hagerstown, Maryland; two sisters, Margaret Groff and Debrah Friedman both of Hagerstown; one granddaughter, Megan Groff of Hagerstown; 3 grandsons, Divin Groff, Seamus Burns and Liam Burns all of Hagerstown. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. Henry Marquiss will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Graveside military honors will be provided by AMVESTS post No. 10.
