Paul Irvin Hayes, 78, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Ravenwood Nursing Home. Born January 19, 1941 in Altoona, PA, he was the son of the late Irvin Emanuel and Helen Mae (Snyder) Hayes. Paul graduated from the University of Maryland with a BS in Business. He worked for United Airlines in San Francisco, CA. He moved to the Eagle/Vail Colorado area where he was a managing partner in the Brush Creek Land and Cattle Company, dealing in real estate sales and development. He also owned a bar and restaurant. He retired in 2006 having been a brick company sales representative in the Mid-Atlantic Region. He is survived by his wife, Carole Hayes; sister, Veronica Buxton, husband Robert; nephew, Cory Buxton, wife Stefanie and their children, Kaleigh and Sera Buxton. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Barry Hayes. There will be a visitation from 2:30 to 4pm on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415. E.
