PAUL EUGENE "GENE" FRITZ, 64, of Clear Spring, Maryland, died on Thursday February 24, 2011 at his home. Born August 5, 1946 in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, he was the was the son of the late Paul Calvin and Bernice Jane Keebaugh Fritz. He was employed by various construction companies over the years. He was a member of Faith Temple Church. He is survived by his wife, Marsha Powers Fritz; one daughter, Valerie Feigley of Hagerstown; one son, Marty Vaughn Fritz of Clear Spring, Maryland; three sisters, Joan Sanbower, and Fay Wilmoth, both of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, and Shirley McFadden of Mercersburg, Pennsylvania; four brothers, Richard L. Fritz of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, Carl Fritz of Marion, Pennsylvania, Dale Fritz of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and Timothy Fritz of Mercersburg, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Chloe Fritz, Ethan Fritz, and Anneliese Fritz. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Monday at Faith Temple Church, 14015 Cearfoss Pike, Hagerstown. The Rev. Ronald Lynch will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown. Family will receive friends at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown on Sunday from 7 to 9 p. m., and one hour prior to the service at the church.
