Obituary

PAUL FREDERICK (BUZZ) BONEBRAKE, 80, of 224 Daycotah Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at the Washington County Hospital. Born February 21, 1927 in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Jacob M. and Olive Monn Bonebrake. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U. S. Army. He was employed with the U. S. Postal Service for twenty-six years, retiring in 1984. He was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. He was a member of the White Tail Golf Resort. He is survived by his wife of fifty-nine years, Helen Phyllis Knipe Bonebrake; two sons, Craig Bonebrake, and wife, Donna, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and Dave Bonebrake, and his wife, Susie, of McConnellsburg, Pennsylvania; one sister, Peggy Herr of Hagerstown; five grandchildren, Alison Bonebrake, Kristin Gift, Olivia Hair, Sari Gustaf, and Jeremy Bonebrake; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother, Jacob Bonebrake. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Friday at the Brownsville Church of the Brethren, 1911 Rohrersville Road, Brownsville, Maryland. Rev. David R. Brosnan will officiate. Burial will be in the Brownsville Cemetery. There will be a private family viewing. Friends may call at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard on Thursday from 1 to 6 p. m. Family requests omission of flowers, and memorial donations to the Grace United Methodist Church, 712 Church Street, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740.
