Patricia Anne Bruchey, 85, of Hagerstown, passed away, Friday, August 19, 2022, at Twin Oaks Assisted Living in Williamsport, MD. Born October 21, 1936, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Leroy and Mary Isabel (Gelwicks) Carter. Patricia was retired from the Washington County Board of Education as a bus driver. She was formerly employed by Peoples Drug Store (downtown), L'Aiglon sewing factory and A & P Grocery Store. She loved painting and playing the piano. Patricia is survived by two daughters, Cynthia (Cindy) Boggs and Candice (Candy) Lee and husband, Glenn; one son, Robert E. Bruchey, II and wife, Susan; seven grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eugene Bruchey; and two sisters, Delores Herridge and Barbara Barnes. Funeral services will be 11am Friday, August 26, 2022, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Allen Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 25, 2022, from 5-7pm at the funeral home.
