Pamela Griffey Collins, 72, of Greencastle, PA, passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side on Thursday, January 14, 2021. Born February 7, 1948 in Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late James Calvin Griffey, Sr. and Chiquita (Chapman) Griffey. Pamela retired from Tyco after almost 30 years of service. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, Roger Collins; four daughters, Lisa VanFleet, and husband, John, Kimberly Ray, and husband, Joe, Regina Purdum, and boyfriend, Jason Webber, and Samantha Trent; two sons, David Slunt, and wife, Pristeen, and Roger Purdum, and wife, Heather; one sister, Gayle Severin; one brother Alan Griffey; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Bryan Slunt, Jr.; one daughter, Mellisa Grove; one brother, James Griffey, Jr.; and one grandson, Justin Slunt. A memorial service will by held 11am Friday, January 22, 2021 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Social distancing and masks are required.
