NORMA JEANNE STEIGMAN, 79, of Peacock Trail, Hagerstown, Maryland, died Sunday, June 17, 2012 at NMS Health Care. Born January 16, 1933, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Hughie and Helen Stouffer Mowbray. She was employed with C& P Telephone Company for thirty-five years. She was a member of First Christian Church. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. She is survived by her husband of sixty years, Robert W. Steigman; a daughter, Cheryl Holmes of Arlington, VA; a sister, Betty Andrews of Hagerstown; four grandchildren, Jordan Holmes, Ashley Bass, Tyler Holmes and Wade Holmes; three great grandchildren. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. Lay Chaplain Calvin Scholl will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to charity of your choice.
