Nevin Smith Jordan, 79, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Thursday, May 1, 2025, at Chambersburg Hospital.

Born October 2, 1945 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Walter Keller and Margaret Armenta (Smith) Jordan.

Nevin was a Class of 1963 graduate of Boonsboro High School and served in the Vietnam War with the U. S. Army. He retired from General Motors in Martinsburg after 38 years.

Nevin enjoyed hunting, fishing, and has been avidly involved with Dirt Track Racing for most of his life and supported a few local teams.

He is survived by one daughter, Angela Allen, and husband, Robert; and two grandchildren, Audrey and Owen Allen.

Nevin was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Paula Jordan and three brothers, Claude Eugene "Gene" Jordan, Wayne Edward Jordan and Larry Keller Jordan.

Graveside services will be held 11am Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, from 6-8pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.
