NETTIE LAWSON WRIGHT, 97, of Hagerstown, MD passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 at Ravenwood Nursing Center. Born September 16, 1917, in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Irving E. and Alice V. Orem Lawson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Harold Bell Wright on January 12, 1995. She was a member of John Wesley United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Woman of the Church. She is survived by a daughter; and a son, Harold (Chip) B. Wright, II of Annapolis, MD; five grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, Irving E. Lawson, Jr. Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Reisterstown United Methodist Church, 246 Main St., Reisterstown, MD 21136. The Rev. Kenneth Dunnington will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Board of Child Care of the United Methodist Church, Inc., 3300 Gaither Road, Baltimore, Maryland 21244.
