NEDRA ELAINE BURKE, 77, of The Village of Robinwood, Hagerstown, died on Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown. Born June 16, 1934, in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Emmert Franklin and Elsie Eudora Ernde Knepper. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack E. Burke on July 9, 1995. She was a member of Zion Reformed United Church of Christ. She is survived by one daughter, Sandy Cummings, and husband, Mike, of Hagerstown; three sons, Gary Burke, and wife, Danny, of Arizona, Harold Burke, and wife, Janice, of Florida, and Doug Burke, and companion, Faya, of Arizona; seven grandchildren, Lindsay Cummings, Chad Cummings, Kim Burke, Becky McGuire, and husband, Nick, Heather Howdeshell, and husband, Jake, Casey Burke and Dee Burke and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Patricia (Pat) Kennedy, and stepmother, Charlotte Knepper. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11:00 a. m. at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. The Rev. Kevin Munroy will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport, Maryland. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 7 to 9 p. m.
