Nancy Elizabeth Spickler, 79, of Smithsburg, MD, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home in Boonsboro. Born May 15, 1940 in Smithsburg, MD, she was the daughter of the late Harvey M. Miller, Jr. and Margurite (Bailey) Miller. Nancy was a former secretary at St. Maria Goretti and worked in food service at Smithburg School. She was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. She loved to yard sale and pet Patches. Nancy is survived by her husband, Edward E. Spickler, of 59 years; and her son Shane E. Spickler (Tina). A graveside service will be held 2pm on Friday, December 27, 2019 at Welty Church of the Brethren, 13465 Greensburg Rd., Smithburg, MD 21783. Pastor Bill Divelbiss will officiate.
