NANCY LEE RENNER, 73, of 260 Frederick Street, Hagerstown, Md., died Saturday, May 7, 2011 at her home. Born July 4, 1937 in Hagerstown, Md. she was the daughter of the late Russell and Goldie Clark Ragland. She was preceded in death by her companion of thirty-five years, Ronald E. Brown, Sr. in 2004. Nancy was a 1955 graduate of Hagerstown High School. She retired in 2006 from the Washington County Hospital after thirty-two years of service. She was a member of the Owls Club. She is survived by one daughter, Donna S. Whittaker of Hagerstown; two sons, Ronnie "Zip" Renner and Henry Renner, Jr. both of Hagerstown; three sisters, Bonnie "Hubba" Ragland and Gladys Whitmer both of Hagerstown and Phyllis Eader of Big Cove Tannery, Pa; one brother, Harry "Moose" Ragland of Mercersburg, Pa; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Alberta Woodcock and Frances Stevens; one brother, Albert "Buddy" Ragland. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. Greg Tyler will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m.
