Nancy Elenvy Jesse, 87, of Williamsport, MD, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025. She was born on June 7, 1937, in Wilkes-Barre, PA, to Leonard and Margaret Milford.

Nancy was a graduate of Meyers High School in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. On November 30, 1957, she married the love of her life, Carl W. Jesse. Together, they shared 63 wonderful years of marriage before his passing.

Early in her career, Nancy worked in the office of Planters Nut & Chocolate Company in Wilkes-Barre. In 1965, she became a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Hagerstown, MD, where she was an active and devoted member for several years. Her contributions to the church were many—she prepared weekly bulletins, taught Bible School, assisted with church finances, organized art shows and yard sales, and volunteered at events like Augustoberfest. She was also a dedicated member of the IWML Women's League.

A lifelong learner, Nancy took college courses at both Wilkes College and Hagerstown Junior College. She served as a chaperone for the Williamsport High School Blue Band and a team mother for the Conococheague Little League. She also gave her time as an assistant Brownie Leader and homeroom mother.

Nancy had a zest for life and community. She was a longtime member of the Westernaires Square Dance Club and an enthusiastic bowler, participating in a league with her husband for many years.

She is survived by her son, David (Debbie); daughter, Gayle Myett (Jim); five grandchildren, Dana, Kara (Austin), Michael, Douglas (Anna), and Benjamin (Geena); and two great-grandchildren, Cameron and Charlie.

The family would like to thank Homewood Assisted Living for all the care and support they have provided over the past year and a half.

The funeral will be held at 11am on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Concordia Lutheran Church, 17906 Garden Ln, Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Bill Pekari will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Williamsport.
