Nancy Lee (Grubbs) Jenkins, 80, of Hagerstown, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at Julia Manor.

Born November 16, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Stanley L. Grubbs, Jr. and Dorothy A. (Darr) Grubbs, and stepmother Mary Jane Grubbs.

Nancy graduated from South Hagerstown High School, Class of 1960. She was employed by the Washington County Hospital, retiring in 2006. She was of the Protestant faith; loved to sing and play bingo, and loved her faithful companion, her late cat, Midnight.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Marvin Russell and Dennis Jenkins; and one sister, Suellyn Cline, and husband, Edward.

Nancy is survived by two children, David Russell and wife, Kimberly, of FL, and daughter, Tammy Russell, and wife, Kristine Long, of PA; two grandchildren, Derek Russell and Hannah Baker; four great grandchildren, Elijah, Brayden, Rylee, and Olivia; and a special person, Della M. Newlin, who was like a daughter to her; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A funeral service will be 11am Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Rodney K. Rhodes will officiate. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
