Nancy Kurlene Commer, 76, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Reeder's Memorial Home in Boonsboro, MD. Born November 3, 1939 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of Calvin Souders Sr. and Margaret Elizabeth Souders. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years, Kenneth Commer, Sr. She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Pfaff and husband David, and Jamie Powell and husband, John; nine grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; brother James Souders and wife Theresa; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Nancy was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth Commer, Jr. and John Wesley; and one brother, Calvin Souders, Jr. Services will be held 2pm Monday, September 19, 2016 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. Pastor Bill Divelbiss will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 6 to 8pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.
