Nancy Virginia Carpenter, 80, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Julia Manor. Born March 7, 1941 in Washington County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Preston and Camilla (Harper) Carpenter. Nancy was the last living member of her family, being predeceased by her parents and her brothers, Christopher Columbus Carpenter and William Allen Carpenter. She retired as a nurse's aid from Avalon Manor Nursing Home after 16 years. No services are scheduled. Memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation at www.komen.org.
