NANCY LEE BENNETT, 51, of Clearspring, MD, passed away Friday, February 5, 2010 at the Washington County Hospital from complications of pneumonia. She was born October 8, 1958 in Baltimore, MD. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary Nicodemus Stevens. On October 17, 1981 she married her loving and devoted husband, John and relocated to Clearspring. She is survived by her husband of 28 years, John Bennett; three children, Autumn Marie Broadwater of Clearspring, Laura Lee Bennett of Hagerstown and Richard Tyler Bennett of Clearspring; one grandson, Eric Draven Broadwater; two sisters, Jackie Miller and husband Tom of Cresaptown, MD and Shirley Stevens of Lonaconing, MD; one niece, one nephew and several great nieces and nephews; childhood friend, Cindy Bitner; and her two loyal pups, Ozzy and Rocko. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd, Hagerstown, MD with Pastor Robert Stone officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport, MD. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
