Minnie "Judy" Marie (Turner) Morehead, 88, of Hagerstown, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2024 at her home.

Born March 28, 1936 in Washington County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Hunter and Marie Katherine (Peyton) Turner.

Minnie was loved by many and contributed to the community. She retired from the Board of Education and worked with the Commission on Aging. She was the loving mother of five children.

She is survived by three daughters, Katherine Marie Mikolajczyk, Mary Ann Lynch, Debra Kay Lynch; one son, Robert Allen Lynch; two sisters, Jenny Tresnan-Nowak and Linda Diebert; ten grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Minnie was preceded in death by her husband, Dewy Morehead and one son, George Wendell Lynch, Jr.

Funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.  Rev. Randall S. Reid will officiate.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Tuesday at the funeral home.
