MILDRED LORETTA YATES, 95, of Kaiser Ridge Road, Hagerstown, MD died February 7, 2005 at the Washington County Hospital. She was born Dec. 24, 1909 in Hagerstown. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Richard Yates. She was a lifetime member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Nancy Chism of Mechanicsville, MD; one son, Gary Wayne Yates of Hagerstown; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Charles Richard Yates and Travis Lee Yates; three sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11:00am at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 802 Summit Ave. with Rev. Kenneth Hawes officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday , 7:00-9:00pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. and one half hour prior to the service at the church.
