Michael Scott Rogers, Sr., 56 of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Friday, April 18, 2025, surrounded by family.

He was born November 17, 1968 in Hedgesville, WV, to Howard Rogers, Sr. and Geraldine Rogers.

Michael was a devoted family man and avid fisherman who found joy in the simple moments spent with loved ones. Known for his selflessness, he was always willing to lend a helping hand—often giving the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

He is survived by his wife, Melissa Blankley; sons, Michael, Jr., Justin, and Bryant (Brianna); his stepchildren; many grandchildren and a great-grandchild on the way; his brother, Daniel Rogers; and his best friend, Evelyn Fisher.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Howard Rogers, Jr.

The family will receive friends at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 6-8pm.
