Michael Wynne Pomeroy, 77, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away January 28, 2026, at his home.

Born October 18, 1948 in Denver, CO, he was the son of the late James Marion Pomeroy, Sr. and Alice (Robinson) Pomeroy Able and stepfather, Carl Rudolph (Pop) Able.

Michael honorably served in the United States Marine Corps, earning several decorations, including the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Rifle Expert Badge.

He is survived by his loving wife, Tina Pomeroy; one son, Garrett Artemas Pomeroy of Tallahassee, FL; one daughter, Elisabeth Pomeroy of San Antonio, TX; as well as nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on February 12, 2026, at Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Rd., Triangle, VA 22172. Rev. Clarence Hurd will officiate.
