Michael Eugene Mills, passed away on the 10th of March 2025, in Greencastle, PA, at the age of 80. Born on November 24, 1944, in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Harry and Mildred (Hamburg) Mills.

After proudly serving his country in the Marines, he dedicated many years as a correctional officer at the Maryland Correctional Training Center. Here, he was respected for his commitment to duty, upholding values that shaped his admirable work ethic.

Those who knew Michael understood the value of integrity and discipline he instilled through lived example. Remembered for his unwavering loyalty and his ability to face life's adversities with courage, he leaves behind a legacy that will continue to flourish in the hearts of the loved ones he has influenced.

He is survived by his son, Michael Mills and his wife, Alison; his granddaughter, Natalie Long; and grandson, Joshua Long, and his wife, Emma.

A graveside service will be held at 11am on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 W. Washington St., Hagerstown, MD with Pastor Bill Shuit officiating.
