Michael Lynn Harnish, 63, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Doey's House.  Born August 26, 1961 in Hagerstown, he was the son of the late Janet Louise (Lizor) and Thomas Franklin Harnish, Jr.

Michael graduated from Williamsport High School in 1979, and worked for Chuck Harrell Home Construction for many years. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed NASCAR and Rolling Rock.

He is survived by one son, Aaron Harnish; stepdaughter, Katie Roark (accompanied by, Michael); grandchildren, Madison, Grayson, and Brynlee; sister, Linda (Harnish) Maginnis; and nieces, Amy, Jessica, Shannon, and Janet.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by one sister, Pamela (Harnish) Stottlemyer, and stepbrother, Terry Youngblood.

The funeral service will be held at 1pm on Friday, May 30, 2025 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 6 to 8pm.
