Michael Darius Hann Sr., 54, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024. He was born on May 9, 1969 in Hagerstown.

Michael was an amazing chef and could especially prepare an excellent steak. He enjoyed gardening and tending to his flowerbeds, particularly his popcorn plants. Michael was an avid horseshoe player and would play all year round, regardless of the weather. He was a fanatic for the Kansas City Chiefs and was a diehard fan. However most of all, Michael will be remembered for being a wonderful husband, father, and papa.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Elwood Hann Sr. and his biological father, Harvey Darius Swanger.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, April Hann, his sons, Michael Darius Hann II, Daniel Miers Hann, and Aaron Scot Hann, his grandson, Darius Franco Hann, his mother, Carol Clark Hann, and his mother-in-law, Pam McCarney.

Family and friends are welcomed for a memorial service on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11:00am at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown.
