MICHAEL BROSE GEARHART, 50, of Smithsburg, Maryland, passed away Friday, December 5, 2014. Born June 11, 1964, in Hagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of Mitch and Beverly Barnhart Gearhart. He was a 1982 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. He was employed with Lowe's Home Improvement in Waynesboro, PA, for three years. He was previously employed with Home Depot for fifteen years. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Jodi Gearhart; twins, Madison Teresa Gearhart and Mitchell Brose Gearhart at home; one sister, Kristin Hose and husband, Jerry of Mercersburg, PA; one brother, Jeffery Allen Gearhart and wife, Susanne of Hagerstown, MD; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Teresa Gearhart. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastors Tim and Audrey Hollenberg-Duffey will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
