MICHAEL ALAN BOYD, SR., 60, of 1806 Winston Drive, Hagerstown, Maryland, died Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at his home. Born November 9, 1948, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he is the son of Oscar and Mattie Hampton Boyd of Cincinnati, Ohio. He was retired from Dow Jones. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one daughter, Cassaundra Boyd of Cincinnati, Ohio; one son, Michael Boyd, Jr. of Seattle, Washington; two sisters, Lowell Boyd, San Jose, CA and Gayle Cordell of Cincinnati, Ohio; two brothers, Lance Boyd of Cincinnati, Ohio and Guy Boyd of Atlanta, Georgia; and two grandchildren. Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing. The family requests the omission of flowers.
