Max Kenneth Robison, 97, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Friday, October 24, 2025, at Meritus Medical Center. He had been a resident of Heritage Hills Retirement Home in Greencastle, PA for four years.

Born November 12, 1927 in Maryland, he was the son of the late Edward Solomon and Mary Alice (Weller) Robison.

Max worked for Fairchild and operated a Lime Spreading Business. He was a life member of Western Maryland Sportsman Club and Chambersburg V.F.W. He was a member of American Legion Post 202 and a former member and President of the Wilson Ruritan.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 37 years, Irene S. Robison, in 1984, and his companion, Arlene Higgins in 2023. Max was the last of his siblings, having been preceded in death by four sisters, Agatha Hieronimus, Lottie Wilderman, Dolly Cross, and Iretta Nuss and five brothers, Edward, Millard "Jerry", Merle, Lloyd, and Carl Robison.

Max is survived by daughter, Debra Mills, and husband, Cliffton Carson; three grandchildren, Charles "Chuck" Mills, Michael Mills, and Amanda Frushour and husband, Daniel; five great grandchildren, Shane, Chase, Samantha, Danica, and Dillan; one great-great grandson due in November, and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held 11am Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at St. Paul's Cemetery, 14106 National Pike, Clear Spring, MD with Pastor Bill Divelbiss officiating.
