Matthew S. D. Reed, 27, of Morristown, TN, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2022. Born in Winston Salem, NC, on March 26, 1995, he was the son of Shawn Reed and the late Deborah L. Wells. He was a 2013 graduate from Martinsburg, WV. Matthew had a love for motorcycles, and was part owner of Major Performance and Dyno LLC in Greenville, TN. Matthew is survived by his father and stepmother, Shawn and Deborah Reed of Hagerstown, MD; his grandmother, Mary Harvey of Morristown, TN; his stepsister and stepbrother-in-law, Crystal and Anthony McAfee of Falling Waters, WV; his half-sisters, Ali Lynch and Joanna Amato; his great grandmother, Erma Rabideau of Potsdam, NY; and aunts, Patricia Reed of Port Charlotte, FL and Danielle Reed of Occoquan, MD. Matthew also had other numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews that he loved. He was preceded in death by his mother, Deborah L. Wells; and grandfather, Daniel Reed. A Memorial Service will be held at 3pm on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Allan Robinson will officiate. The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service from 1-3pm.
