MARY ELIZABETH TRIMBLE, 86, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Thursday, October 6, 2005 at her home. Born March 23, 1919 in Martinsburg, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Viola Trimble. She graduated from Shepherd College, and continued her education at Columbia University where she earned a Masters Degree in Education. She taught for over forty years in the Washington County School system; most of those years teaching Social Studies and English at Washington Street School. She was a member of the Christ Reformed Church in Martinsburg, West Virginia. She is survived by her sister, Frances Trimble Miller of Kearneysville, West Virginia; one brother, George W. Trimble of Strasburg, Virginia; three nieces and two nephews; three grand nieces and 10 grand nephews; five great grand nephews; dear friends, Rebecca Ocker and Tom Kitchens, both of Hagerstown. A memorial service will be held at MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown on Saturday, October 15, 2005 at 11:00 a. m. There will be no viewing.
