MARY JANE SUTPHIN, 74, of 6701 Kings Mill Court, Frederick, Maryland, died on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Born April 21, 1934 in Galax, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Rena C. and Edith Josephine Hill Funk. She was retired from Weaver Brothers Mortgage Company in Bethesda, Maryland, where she was a mortgage loan auditor/underwriter. She attended Hagerstown Business College. She is survived by her husband, Robert C. Sutphin; three sons, John C. Funk of Annapolis, Maryland, Robert Brian Sutphin of Thurmont, Maryland, and Douglas A. Sutphin of Frederick, Maryland; and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a. m. Saturday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Linda Warehime will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 7 to 9 p. m.
