Mary Elizabeth Rager, 84, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Meritus Medical Center.

Born December 20, 1941, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Dorman Rager and Mary Ruth (Crampton) Rager.

Mary was a hardworking woman who spent 45 years providing house and office cleaning services. She was raised by her beloved grandparents Reba and Oliver Crampton in Fairplay.

Mary was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Hagerstown and participated in the Presbyterian Women’s Bible Study and The Ruth Circle. She was also a member of VFW Auxiliary 1936.

Mary will be lovingly remembered by her cousins and by all who knew and cared for her.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, 17636 W. Washington Street, Hagerstown, MD. Pastor Rick Hill will officiate.
