MARY VIRGINIA CATHERINE MILES, 94, of 630 Beaver Creek Road, Hagerstown, Maryland, died Sunday, March 9, 2008 at her home. Born February 17, 1914 in Big Spring, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late John F. and Savannah M. Moore Miles She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She is survived by two grandchildren, Cheryl Carpenter and husband, Randy Flook of Hagerstown, MD and Curtis L. Carpenter and wife Shirley of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley Miles Carpenter; one sister, Helen Moats; three brothers, Carl Miles, Lloyd Miles and Frank Miles. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. Torben Aarsand will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, in Clear Spring, Maryland.
