Mary Virginia Huff, 99, of Clear Spring, MD, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, November 26, 2021. She was born on January 18, 1922 in Hagerstown, MD, to the late Nikolas Mijanovich and Clara Virginia Shimp Mijanovich. She retired from Fairchild Aircraft in 1983. She was previously employed with L'Aiglon Apparel and Dorbee Manufacturing for thirty-four years. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Temple. Mary was a volunteer with Western Maryland Hospital Center for 10 years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace R. Huff, her sister, Betty Jane Moats, and her brother, Paul R. Mijanovich. She is survived by her great-nephew, Chad Moats and his wife, Josie, who were also her caretakers; two great-great-nephews, Dylan and Jerry Moats; her great-nephew, Nicholas Bender; her nephew, Randy Moats; and her niece, Launa Bender. Family and friends are welcomed for a visitation on Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 1:00pm at the funeral home. Pastor Ed Hampton will officiate. Interment will be at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park in Hagerstown.
