Obituary

MARY EILEEN FREIZE, 91, formerly of 157 South Prospect Street, Hagerstown, Maryland, died Sunday, January 28, 2007 at the Washington County Hospital. Born May 3, 1915 in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mamie Elbon McNeal. She was a 1934 graduate of Hagerstown High School. She managed the gift shop at The Columbia Women's Hospital in Washington, D. C. for twenty –five years. She volunteered with the John F. Kennedy presidential camp. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was a member of the Women's Club and The Washington County Historical Society. She is survived by two brothers, Thomas McNeal and James Paul McNeal both of Hagerstown, Maryland; two nieces, Paula Price and Joanne Papa both of Hagerstown, Maryland; one nephew, Jack Pensinger of Potomac, Maryland. She was preceded in by one sister, Marguerite J. Pensinger and one brother, J. William McNeal. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 126 West Washington Street, Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. James Nirappel will be celebrant. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Women's Club, 31 South Prospect Street, Hagerstown, Maryland 21740
