Mary Alice Donaldson, 89, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on May 5, 2026, at Fahrney-Keedy Memorial Home.

Born on July 29, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Emmert F. Gesford and Lela E. (Linebaugh) Gesford.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Phillip Donaldson, on September 16, 2000.

She attended Grace United Methodist Church and found great joy in sewing, gardening, and quilting.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Kathy Ann Crampton; her son, Jimmy Ray Donaldson; five grandchildren, Lindsey Donaldson, Cindy Hann, Michelle Piper, Cory Crampton, and Courtney Hebert; as well as many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Hedy Gesford.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Mark Allan Donaldson; her brothers, Roy "Bubby" Gesford, Ralph Kline, and Richard "Pete" Gesford; and her sisters, Edna Pryor and Louise Kline.

A viewing will be held at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the funeral home, with Pastor Andy Ickes officiating. Interment will follow at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
