Mary Alice Detrow, 73, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2019. She was born on April 30, 1946 to the late Thomas M. Harr and Doris StClair.
Mary loved to travel and camp. Her and her husband enjoyed trips by motorcycle to Nashville, Niagara Falls, and Canada as well as, trips by train to Branson, MO, Chicago, and Washington D.C.. They often attended the Rough and Tumble shows in Lancaster, PA and they frequently enjoyed going out to eat together at the Amish restaurants in PA and the local Western Sizzler. Most of all, Mary loved spending time with her late poodles, Phyllis and Maggie.
She is survived by her husband, Fred D. Detrow, her sister, Elizabeth Baker and her partner, Howard Tosten, and her cousin, Sharon Smith.
Family and friends are welcomed for a visitation on Friday, December 27, 2019 from 10-11am at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard in Hagerstown. A graveside service will immediately follow at 11:30am at Beaver Creek Cemetery, 20402 Beaver Creek Road in Hagerstown.
