Mary Omega (Wade) Burkley, 70, of Martinsburg, WV, passed away Friday, May 23, 2025.

Born June 22, 1954 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles Elmer and Ruby Irene (Mose) Saunders.

She was employed by Fahrney-Keedy, Citibank, and Meritus Hospital throughout her career.

In her personal life, she found joy in gardening, reading, camping, and playing games. Known for her warm and friendly nature, she cherished time spent with family and friends.

Mary is survived by her husband, William Robert Burkley; son, Michael Sease and wife, Melissa; stepchildren, Robert Burkley and Krystal Burkley; siblings, Robert Saunders, John Saunders, Connie Shaffer, Tim Saunders, Jim Saunders, and Becky Slate; and lifelong friend, Janice Merique.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her previous husband, William Wade, and siblings, Leroy Saunders, Charles Saunders, Dwight Saunders, and Judy Turner.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Manor Church Cemetery, with a reception to be held afterward
