Mary Dolores (Glosser) Brandenburg, 79, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 at NMS Health Care. Born April 2, 1937 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late John and Rhoda Jane (Gorman) Glosser. Mary graduated from Hagerstown High School in 1955. She was employed at the Pentagon as administrative assistant to all service branches, retiring in 1970. She worked as a secretary with the Board of Education until 1976. Mary then volunteered to stay home as a caregiver for her parents. She was a member of Hagerstown Church of the Brethren. She loved working with young people, working in her garden, and loved her pets. She was an avid reader. Mary is survived by one sister, Jean Glosser; one brother, John Glosser, Jr.; one nephew, Aaron Glosser and wife, Christina, their daughter, Brianna; and many cousins. A graveside service will be held 11am Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Rose Hill Cemetery. Pastor Tim Hollenberg-Duffey will officiate.
