MARY SYLVIA BERGER, 75, of 13003 Clopper Road, Hagerstown, Md. died on Monday, July 13, 2009 at the home of her daughter. Born October 23, 1933 in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of the late Robert R. and Helen Sarah Willet Rohrer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Charles A. Berger. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Rhonda "Bunny" Parks of Hagerstown; two sons, Steve Berger of Hagerstown and Scott Berger of Williamsport, Md.; a sister, Anna Helen Hartman of Hagerstown; 3 brothers, Robert Willet Rohrer and Philip Henry Rohrer, both of Hagerstown and Roy Franklin Rohrer of Lincoln, Nebraska; 5 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Stanley Berger, a sister, Kathryn Baumgardner and a brother, Paul E. Rohrer. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a. m. at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd. Rev. Wayne Frum will officiate. Burial will be at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
