MARTINE GERTRUDE EARLEY, 82, of 7734 McClellan Avenue, Boonsboro, Maryland, died on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at her home. Born October 29, 1927 in San Mar, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Martin Luther and Delores Clipp Butts. She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-five years, Grayson Melvin Earley who died on June 30, 1990. She was of the Protestant faith. She is survived by one daughter, Vickie Sue Snyder, and her fianc, Earl Richard Smith, Jr., of Fairplay, Maryland; one son, David Earley of Hagerstown; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Ricky Allen Earley, daughter-in-law, Linda Earley, three sisters, Geraldine Butts, Shirley Stickler, and Thelma Rohrer, one brother, Terry Butts and a half-brother, John Benner. Funeral services will be held at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown on Monday at 1:00 p. m. The Rev. Clark D. Carr will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 7 to 9 p. m.
