Martha Melda Tolstyka, 78, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Sterling Care South Mountain in Boonsboro, MD. Born May 23, 1943, in Liggett, KY, she was the daughter of the late Otis Campbell and Dorothy Lucile (Fee) Campbell Thomson. Martha retired from AT&T. She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Donald Tolstyka; one son, Brian Tolstyka and his wife, Sarah; one sister, Janice K. Peters and her husband, Mike; four grandchildren, Cassie Holman and her husband, Dave, Justin Tolstyka, Page Helshman, and Brody Tolstyka; one great-granddaughter, Brooke Holman; two nieces, Emily Peters and Alyson Peters; and one nephew, Josh Peters. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Campbell, and her stepfather, George Thomson. A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at Rose Hill Cemetery, 600 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown, MD. Rev. Jerry Cooper will officiate. The family will receive friends at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD, on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, from 11:30am-1:30pm.
