MARTHA IRENE PRICE, 80, of Clear Spring, Maryland, died on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the Williamsport Nursing Home. Born September 1 6, 1931 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Bernard and Viola Corderman Barnhart. She was a member of Maugansville Bible Brethren Church, where in earlier years she sang on the choir. Martha loved being a farmer's wife, spending time with children and grandchildren, and tending to her flower garden. She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years, William H. Price; two daughters, Linda Higgins, and husband, Lewis, of Hagerstown; and Judy Price of Hagerstown; one half-brother, Bernard Barnhart of Hagerstown; and two grandchildren, Cheryl Geiger, and husband, Milton, of Laramie, Wyoming, and Eric Higgins of Hagerstown. Preceded in death by sister, Virginia Landis, and brother, Preston Barnhart. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a. m. at Maugansville Bible Brethren Church, 17904 Binkley Avenue, Maugansville, Maryland. The Rev. Dick Heckman will officiate. Burial will be in Broadfording Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
